Key Takeaways

  • Commercial fencing for self-storage facilities enhances the facility’s overall security and appeal, creating a sense of exclusivity and prestige.
  • It ensures compliance with regulations, meeting security requirements and local building codes, reducing liability risks, and providing peace of mind for facility owners.
  • Investing in commercial fencing improves customer satisfaction, loyalty, and the overall customer experience, leading to increased word-of-mouth referrals, online reviews, and ratings.
  • The durability and customization options of ornamental fencing and decorative metal options provide long-term cost savings, a lasting investment, and the ability to personalize the fencing to match the facility’s branding.

If you’re looking for a durable and cost-effective option, chain-link fencing is the perfect choice for securing your self-storage facility. Chain-link fencing is known for its strength and longevity, making it an excellent solution for keeping your facility safe and protected. The interlocking steel wires create a strong barrier that can withstand harsh weather conditions and potential intruders.

Not only is chain-link fencing sturdy, but it is also a cost-effective option for your self-storage facility. Its simplicity in design and installation helps keep the overall expenses low. Additionally, chain-link fencing requires minimal maintenance, saving you both time and money in the long run.

Chain-link fencing also provides a sense of belonging and security for your customers. With its transparent design, customers can easily see their belongings without feeling isolated. This transparency fosters a sense of trust and reassurance, making your self-storage facility an inviting space for customers to store their valuable possessions.

Furthermore, chain-link fencing offers the flexibility to customize and enhance its appearance. You can add privacy slats or mesh panels to increase privacy for your customers, without compromising the security aspect. This versatility allows you to tailor the aesthetics of your self-storage facility to create a welcoming environment.

Transitioning to vinyl fencing, another popular choice for self-storage facilities, you can enjoy the benefits of enhanced privacy and a sleeker appearance.

Vinyl Fencing

When it comes to vinyl fencing, you’ll love the durability and low maintenance it offers. Vinyl fencing has become a popular choice for commercial properties like self-storage facilities, and for good reason. One of the main advantages of vinyl fencing is its long-lasting nature. Unlike traditional wood fencing, vinyl doesn’t rot, warp, or fade over time. This means that once you install vinyl fencing, you can rest easy knowing that it will continue to look great for years to come.

Another advantage of vinyl fencing is its low maintenance requirements. Vinyl doesn’t require painting or staining like wood fences do. All it needs is an occasional wash with soap and water to keep it looking clean and fresh. This makes vinyl fencing a convenient option for busy commercial property owners who don’t have the time or resources to constantly upkeep their fence.

In terms of the installation process, vinyl fencing is relatively straightforward. With the right tools and materials, you can easily install vinyl fencing yourself or hire a professional to do it for you. The panels simply slide into the pre-routed posts, making for a quick and efficient installation process.

Now that you know the benefits of vinyl fencing, let’s move on to the next option: steel fencing.

Steel Fencing

When it comes to protecting your property, steel fencing is the top choice. It provides maximum security and strength, giving you peace of mind knowing that your assets are well protected.

Plus, it’s available in various styles and heights, allowing you to choose the perfect design that complements your facility’s aesthetic.

And the best part? Steel fencing requires minimal maintenance, saving you time and money in the long run.

Don’t compromise on security – choose steel fencing for maximum protection.

Provides maximum security and strength

The commercial fencing option provides maximum security and strength, making it ideal for self-storage facilities. When it comes to protecting your valuable belongings, durability and longevity are of utmost importance.

This type of fencing is built to withstand harsh weather conditions, potential intruders, and everyday wear and tear. With its sturdy construction, it ensures that your facility remains secure at all times.

Not only does commercial fencing offer unmatched security, but it is also a cost-effective option. Its long lifespan means that you won’t have to worry about frequent replacements or repairs, saving you money in the long run.

Additionally, this type of fencing is available in various styles and heights, allowing you to choose the perfect option that suits your facility’s aesthetic and security needs seamlessly.

Available in various styles and heights

You have the flexibility to choose from a variety of styles and heights when selecting the ideal option for your facility’s aesthetic and security needs.

Different materials for commercial fencing offer unique advantages and disadvantages. For a classic look, you can opt for steel fencing, which provides exceptional strength and durability. However, steel fencing may require regular maintenance to prevent rusting.

If you prefer a more modern and low-maintenance option, vinyl fencing could be the perfect choice. Vinyl is resistant to rot, fading, and cracking, making it an excellent long-term investment.

Another popular option is chain-link fencing, which is cost-effective and allows for visibility while still providing security.

Whatever style you choose, commercial fencing offers a range of options to suit your specific requirements.

Moving forward, consider the fact that commercial fencing requires minimal maintenance, ensuring long-lasting protection for your facility.

Requires minimal maintenance

Opting for vinyl fencing means you’ll have a low-maintenance option that resists rot, fading, and cracking. With vinyl fencing, you can enjoy a durable and long-lasting solution for your self-storage facility. Here are four reasons why vinyl fencing is the right choice for you:

  • Low cost options: Vinyl fencing is an affordable choice that offers excellent value for your money. You can save on maintenance and replacement costs in the long run.

  • Eco-friendly materials: Vinyl fencing is made from recycled materials, making it an environmentally friendly option. By choosing vinyl, you’ll be reducing your carbon footprint and contributing to a sustainable future.

  • Easy to clean: Vinyl fencing requires minimal maintenance. You can easily clean it with soap and water, saving you time and effort.

  • Resistant to weather conditions: Vinyl fencing is designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, such as rain, snow, and UV rays. It won’t fade, crack, or warp, ensuring that it will look great for years to come.

Transitioning to wood fencing, you’ll find another attractive option for your self-storage facility.

Wood Fencing

Wood fencing is a popular choice for commercial self-storage facilities. It offers a range of benefits that make it an excellent investment. Not only does it provide a strong barrier to keep unwanted visitors out, but it also adds a touch of warmth and natural beauty to the surroundings.

One of the main advantages of wood fencing is its versatility. There are different types of wood that can be used, depending on your preferences and budget. Cedar, for example, is a popular option due to its durability and resistance to rot and decay. Another commonly used wood is redwood, known for its rich color and natural resistance to insects and weathering.

By choosing the right type of wood, you can ensure that your fence will withstand the test of time while maintaining its aesthetic appeal.

Now, let’s delve into another type of fencing that can enhance the overall look of your self-storage facility: ornamental fencing.

Ornamental Fencing

Ornamental fencing, with its intricate designs and decorative elements, can greatly enhance the visual appeal of your self-storage facility. By choosing decorative metal, such as wrought iron, you can create a sense of elegance and sophistication that will attract customers and make them feel like they belong to a community of quality storage solutions.

Here are some reasons why ornamental fencing is a great choice for your self-storage facility:

  • Increased Curb Appeal: The beautiful designs and patterns of ornamental fencing will instantly elevate the aesthetic of your facility, making it stand out from the competition.

  • Enhanced Security: Don’t let the decorative nature fool you. Ornamental fencing can be just as sturdy and secure as other types of fencing, providing an added layer of protection for your customers’ belongings.

  • Sense of Exclusivity: The elegant appearance of wrought iron fencing creates a sense of exclusivity and prestige, making customers feel like they are part of a high-end storage community.

Investing in ornamental fencing for your self-storage facility not only adds a touch of beauty but also enhances the overall security and appeal. Make your customers feel like they belong to a top-notch storage solution by choosing decorative metal like wrought iron.

Conclusion

In conclusion, when it comes to securing your self-storage facility, commercial fencing is the way to go. There are various options available to suit your specific needs. Whether it’s the durability of chain-link fencing, the low maintenance of vinyl fencing, the strength of steel fencing, the classic look of wood fencing, or the elegance of ornamental fencing. Investing in commercial fencing is like building a fortress around your facility, providing the necessary protection and peace of mind.

So don’t wait any longer, choose the right commercial fencing and safeguard your self-storage facility today.

The service and the work that was done was exceptional. We needed to replace three very old (and very heavy) garage doors in a home that was built in 1960. There were a number of challenges along the way and each one was met professionally and in a timely manner. Lisa was an excellent communicator and highly responsive. Kevin did an extraordinary job with a fairly involved installation. His 'can do' attitude was very refreshing and reassuring. As noted, the final result was terrific. The pricing was VERY reasonable and very fair. The install was completed two days ago and I have already received compliments from the neighbors!

On Oct. 31 my electric gate stopped working and I called Alpha Gate and Door and talked to Lisa. She was great and based on my symptoms said she thought it was the battery and she would send Kealan out the next day. He came and replaced the battery with a 12 v 55ah battery. I asked him to rehang my reflector light on my neighbors new fence so the motion sensor would work. It had worked fine prior to that being taken down. He did that and it worked for a minute and then stopped. He rewired it and it worked once and he left. The next day I noticed the sensor was not working but I didn’t really care because my dog is too small to trigger it. I was charged $448 -$169 for the service call, $249 for the battery and $30 to rewire the sensor. I work exclusively from home as an attorney and never even use the gate during the week. A few weeks later the gate stopped operation completely and I called on Dec. 6. Lisa said she would send Kealan out. He called me and I said the gate would not open at all, the sensor was not working and the sensor was making a nonstop buzzing noise. He arrived fairly late in the day and I saw him pull into my driveway but he did not come to my door and went straight to the gate. I immediately went out there and I saw when he opened the cover that the battery charger lights were not on. He was in a very bad mood and starting ripping the battery out and said I needed a new battery. I said I guess it was because the battery charger wasn’t plugged in. I was not mad about it because that can happen to anyone. He got really mad at that point, I guess because I knew what had happened. He demanded to know whether I had unplugged it, grabbed a huge battery that would not even fit in my unit, then declared the charger had “allegedly” not been plugged in. As he was trying to force the battery in and was slamming everything around, I asked him if he had a smaller battery. He said no, it was whomever installed my gate opener’s fault because the antenna was on the left and they were usually on the right. He continued to try to force it but could not get the cover on. So he gave up and said he would come back Monday with a smaller battery. I assumed the sensor was not working because the battery had died. I heard nothing from anyone the following Monday and had had it so I called Lisa and yelled and told her the way Kealan had behaved and when was the battery actually going to be installed. She said she would talk to Kealan and I said do you have anybody else who is not a jackass who could come instead. She said she would investigate and call me back. She never called me back and apparently the next day around lunch Kealan snuck onto my property, did not tell me he was there, and put in another battery and texted me the gate was now working. I went outside to try it and the remote was not working at all. I have programmed remotes many times (I have done a lot of products liability work and handled cases with complex machinery failures and deposed a lot of engineers so I am not unfamiliar with this type of equipment) and checked it and the receiver was getting the signal from the transmitter but the control board was not opening the gate.So I called Lisa, explained he had come but not told me he was there, and that the remote was not opening the gate. I also apologized for yelling at her the day before because it was not her fault. She said she would tell him. After that call I remembered there is a reset button on the Patriot control board so I went out and pushed it and that caused the remote to work so I called Lisa and said it was working. The new battery is smaller than the one he had originally put in and retails for about $95. The motion sensor still does not work, I have done jumping jacks in front of of it to know avail. I am not bothering to call again about that because Kealan would probably get really mad again. He does NOT like his competence put into question. You decide if $249 is a fair markup on a $95 battery.

I highly recommend Alpha Gate & Door Company! The entire process was incredibly quick and professional! I spoke with Lisa (she’s amazing and extremely knowledgeable) on Tuesday and she came out Wednesday with a recommendation to replace the gate opener that was faulty and couldn’t handle the weight of my gate. I received the reasonable quote the same day and their technician, Keelan, was at my house on Friday of the SAME WEEK to install. Keelan was just as courteous and professional as Lisa and did an amazing job! The install was perfect and pristine! I’ve tried working with other companies and honestly they are hands down the best! If there were 10 stars available, I would give them 10!Thank you Alpha team!
